TechTeam Global Selected by Major Automotive Supplier for Three-Year, IT Support Contract
TechTeam will deliver Managed Help Desk and Infrastructure Support Services in English and Spanish for automotive leader's North American locations
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TechTeam Global, Inc., (Nasdaq: TEAM), a worldwide provider of information technology (IT), enterprise support and business process outsourcing services, today announced that TRW Automotive, a global leader in automotive safety systems based in Livonia, Michigan, has selected TechTeam to provide managed infrastructure support services including help desk, desktop and application support. The three-year deal calls for TechTeam to provide applications support for all North American locations and infrastructure support for 12 North American locations. TechTeam will provide consolidated, ITIL-compliant, managed services that are available 24/7/365 in English and Spanish. These services will be provided onsite from TRW Automotive's facility.
TRW Automotive selected TechTeam based on its proven expertise in managed infrastructure support services and its commitment to improving quality while increasing productivity. In addition, TechTeam will expand support to additional TRW locations that do not have access to a centralized, level-one help desk. TechTeam's ITIL-compliant services provide seamless delivery through established procedures and integrated tools and technology.
