TechTeam Government Solutions Names Jeff Flading as Vice President, Department of Defense Division
Flading brings 30 years of experience in program management, the defense industry and the development and support of mission critical systems
CHANTILLY, Va., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TechTeam Government Solutions, Inc., a provider of information technology (IT) services to federal, state and local markets and a wholly-owned subsidiary of TechTeam Global, Inc. (Nasdaq: TEAM), today announced the appointment of Jeff Flading as Vice President of its Department of Defense (DoD) Division. In this capacity, Mr. Flading will oversee TechTeam Government Solutions' DoD Division and will be responsible for the growth of the DoD business.
Mr. Flading comes to TechTeam Government Solutions with 30 years of experience in the management of complex, mission critical systems within the defense industry. At General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), he led the advance technology support for all Homeland Security and Civil Agency programs. Mr. Flading also served as Vice President, Corporate Strategic Initiatives for Anteon Corporation, which was acquired by GDIT. In this role, he led teams of specialized analysts and software developers in solutions development for federal customers, including FEMA and the U.S. Air Force.
Before joining Anteon, Mr. Flading served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a senior officer in 1997. One of his last assignments was as Project Manager for the Defense Logistics Agency, where he directed the systems integration and implementation of the Shared Data Warehouse, a critical component of the DoD's Standard Procurement System. Mr. Flading holds a master's degree in information systems from George Washington University and a bachelor's degree from Penn State.
