TechTeam Named One of the Top 50 Global Outsourcers in Black Book 2009 Annual Survey
TechTeam ranked at number 18 out of over 1,600 suppliers rated globally
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TechTeam Global, Inc., (Nasdaq: TEAM), a worldwide provider of information technology outsourcing and business process outsourcing services, today announced that it has been named on The Black Book of Outsourcing's prestigious 2009 "50 Best Managed Global Outsourcing Vendors" list.
TechTeam Global is ranked 18th on the 2009 list, a 14-place jump from last year's rank of number 32. This placement puts TechTeam Global in the top two percent of the 1,671 firms judged in the survey. Rating categories include: C-Level Commitment, Human Capital Performance, Corporate Direction, Leadership Impact, and new for this year, five questions on Accountability, Trust and Transparency. Rankings are based strictly on responses from client surveys.

For eight weeks each spring, Brown-Wilson Group, which authors The Black Book of Outsourcing (Wiley Publishers), surveys outsourcing users and C-level officers to gain a buy-side decision-maker perspective on the global services industry. After a stringent external auditing process, the client experience responses of nearly 24,000 buyer executives determined the 2009 Black Book of Outsourcing rankings. 1,671 suppliers from 45 countries, who received at least 10 verifiable client ballots, were qualified for the 2009 Black Book 50.
