As a trusted advisor to the federal government, our focus is on helping our customers achieve higher levels of mission and business performance while at the same time managing risk. For process reengineering, change management and organizational management, Vector Research Center is a trusted partner in transforming the business of government. Process Reengineering and Change Management Vector Research Center applies process reengineering and cross-organizational change management in support of major new technologies and business processes within complex government enterprises and lines of business. The greatest impediments to the deployment of new technologies and process are people and culture. Change Management focuses on bringing the people and culture along so that they support the adoption of change rather than resisting it. The Vector Research Center Change Management methodology addresses 7 key elements that enhance the speed and effectiveness of a change effort: - Governance
- Process Improvement
- Organization Redesign
- Communications
- Training and Education
- Local Participation
- Measurement and Evaluation
Organizational Transformation and Stakeholder Management Organizational transformation requires insight into people, as well as data collection, validation, and management. We apply management processes and tools to meet stakeholder needs by: - Identifying issues and providing incentive-based solutions
- Working through multiple stakeholder engagement channels
- Equipping change agents with processes, tools and measures
- Assisting in the formation of a linked partnership of internal and external stakeholders
Spotlight on the U.S. Air Force Vector Research Center is working hand-in-hand with the U.S. Air Force to transform the way it does business, streamlining current and sometimes inefficient business processes and applying best practices to enhance productivity and reduce risk. Vector Research Center’ work spans the gamut of reinvention efforts, from acting as strategic coach in the design and deployment of a “to be” supply chain environment within the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), to implementing lean thinking and lean tools and techniques across all Air Force Air Logistics Centers (ALCs). Our efforts have resulted in reduced costs, increased time savings, and improved processes, including reductions in both administrative and production lead times.
