IBM LIQUID PLAYER CANDIDATE FAQ

The background check searches for any criminal records.
Once you have registered in the IBM Liquid Challenge Portal and have successfully designed and/or programmed the specified component, IBM will notify you that your submittal was successful and accepted. Once this is done, Stefanini TechTeam will send payment. Payments are issued with 15-20 days of successful completion, and range anywhere from $60-840 USD, minus applicable taxes and program fees, and depending on the component that was completed. When accepting components in the Liquid Portal, you will see what the payment for the component will be. If your component is not successful, IBM may ask you to rework it and submit it. A component is payable only when approved and accepted by IBM. During the Enrollment Process, you will receive more instructions on how you will receive payment.
During the Enrollment Process, you will be provided the contact information for your Enrollment Specialist. After you are enrolled, you can contact Miles Green at miles.green@stefanini-usa.com. He will be in constant communication with you via email.
Check your emails daily and respond to them as quickly as possible. You will be receiving emails from IBM and Stefanini TechTeam.
Payment will be made via an EFT wire transfer to the banking account information you provide during the initial setup stage.
Payment notification is provided to Stefanini TechTeam by IBM via an “approved events” spreadsheet. Those Players whom IBM has authorized as having successfully completed events will be identified on the spreadsheet and communicated to Stefanini TechTeam. There is no additional process required for the Player.
There will be additional deductions from the Liquid Event amount identified in the portal. These deductions encompass required taxes, processing fees, and EFT fees. Processing fees are 9.7% which includes a payment “float” fee and administrative fees. It is our expectation that we will issue payment(s) to Liquid Players within an estimated 20 days from being notified by IBM of a completed event. As IBM pays Stefanini TechTeam at Net 60 days, we are “floating” the payment to you. We are “floating” payment so that Players do not have to wait 60+ days to receive payment for successful event completion.
Payment will be made in the form of an EFT wire to your banking facility. Stefanini TechTeam will not be processing live checks. Payment will be processed in USD, however, upon deposit the funds will be converted to your local currency.
